biography
BrushWorks are done in one movement with no alterations.
Damini’s brushes range from:
a brush with only five hairs
five feathers
a
rooster tail
a barbecue mop
to a 5 foot brush that has seven pounds of twenty-seven
inch long horse hair.
Damini, previously a photographer who exhibited nationally and internationally until 1992, changed her career and now practices acupuncture and Chinese medicine. In 2005, she found a book called Zen Brushwork. The introduction was like reading an introduction in an Oriental medicinal text. Her two loves came together — the fine arts and the healing arts.
